Morte come mutamento

In altri luoghi altre genti pensano alla morte come mutamento.
È un bel pensiero, una bella frase da scrivere e appendere in casa, o scrivere su un blog! :-)
Poi in genere torniamo alla nostra mentalità, che vede morte e mutamento come due cose assai differenti, autonome. Sì, la morte è un "Gran Mutamento", ma non sono per niente la stessa cosa!

Ma non abbiamo realmente provato a metterci in altri panni, ci siamo appena bagnati di un pensiero alieno: dire che la morte è un "semplice mutamento" vuol dire togliere spazio all'importanza che diamo alla nostra individualità, e vederci in una prospettiva diversa.

La vita e la lotta per la vita sono una strenua lotta per l'affermazione dell'individualità, la morte e l'accettazione della morte sono l'abbandono della propria individualità, forse l'unica cosa che possiamo cercare è trovare la giusta equidistanza tra le due polarità.

It's a nice thought, a phrase to write and hang in a frame at home, or to write in a blog! :-)

Then we usually return to our mentality, which looks at death and change as two very different and autonomous things. Yes, death is a "Great Change", but they are not at all the same thing!

But we have not really tried to wear other clothes, we have just got wet in an alien thought: to say that death is a "simple change" means throwing away the importance we place on our individuality, and to look at ourselves in a different perspective.
 
Life and the struggle for life is a fierce fight for the affirmation of individuality, death and the acceptance of death are leaving one's own individuality: perhaps the only thing we can try yo do is to find the right path between the two polarities.
